In animal experiments, the mice lived 25% longer than mice that did not receive the drug. These mice were called “super model mice” because they were more energetic and stronger than control mice and had less cancer.
Initial human trials have already begun, but it is still unclear whether the drug will also work in humans and what side effects it will cause.
