Muscat: Satti X1 team defeated Hala Cosmos team by six wickets to win the championship in the final of Pakistan Schools Muscat (PSM) Ramadan Softball and Cricket Championship late on Thursday.
The Satti XI captain won the toss and decided to bowl. Hala Cosmos scored 121 runs in 8 overs, Shanu KT scored 41 runs in 15 balls with 6 sixes. Shani of Satti XI took 2 wickets for 11 runs.
Chasing the total, Attaullah Satti of Satti XI scored an amazing 60 runs in 19 balls, including 8 sixes and 1 four. His brother Mattiullah Satti sealed the victory for the team with a score of 24 runs from 5 balls. Satti XI won the PSM Cup and received a cash prize of $1,000.

The large crowd enjoyed a wonderful evening of great cricket and savoured Pakistani Tikka Paratha and other spicy dishes. Ahmad Shanfari and Osman Raza were the guests of honour along with Pakistani Ambassador to Oman Imran Ali Chawdhary. Ataullah Satti won the Player of the Tournament award in the final. Sidho of Hala Cosmos was named Player of the Tournament.
Before the first semi-final, Harakosmos defeated Nazimabad XI by eight wickets. Harakosmos elected to field after winning the toss. Nazimabad won by 77-2 in 8 overs. Jibran scored 21 runs (16 overs, 2×4, 1×6). Fahiz took two wickets for 25 runs.
Harakosmos lost 80-2 in 4.4 overs, losing two runs. Mohammad Ali’s 33 not out (11b, 4×6) earned him the Man of the Match award. Sultan Ahmed scored two runs for Nazimabad. In the second semi-final, Sati XI defeated Salalah Kings by 6 wickets. Sati XI won the toss and sent Salalah Kings to bat first. Salalah scored 69-6 in 8 overs. M Usman scored 20 runs in 13 balls, including a six. Tahir Khalil took 2-11 in 2 overs for Sati XI and won the Man of the Match award. Sati entered the final with a score of 70-4 in 4.4 overs. Arshaman Shani scored 18 runs in 8 balls, including a four and two sixes. Mohsin took 2 wickets for Salalah in 1 innings and scored a total of 4 runs.
