The insurer opened five new offices in one year and also grew the volume of premiums it manages by more than 15%.
Sabseg Portugal’s turnover for the year ended 2023 is estimated at €42 million, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%.
The insurer announced in a statement that the managed premium portfolio exceeded 380 million euros, an increase of 15.14% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, it expanded its network of offices in Portugal.

The first half data also show growth in certain sectors compared to the general account of the insurance sector. Sabseg Portugal focuses on the occupational accidents sector, with a change of +17% (market average of 11.6%), the automotive sector, with a change of +18% (market average of 11.2%) and the credit sector, with a change of +19% (market average of 1.98%).
