MONTE PLATA – This Saturday evening, a man killed his romantic partner with a machete in the Pueblo Nuevo area of the municipality of Sabana Grande de Boia, Monte Plata department.
The deceased, Elaine Esther Andújar, was attacked with a machete by her partner, Anastacio Hernández, while receiving treatment at the Pedro Heredia Rojas Hospital, causing injuries to her neck and other parts of her body.
According to the version, jealousy triggered a rage and Anastasio attacked his partner until he killed her.
The man has been arrested by the National Police and will be brought to justice.
