Sunday evening in the Kyiv region Ukraine Anti-aircraft defenses shot down Russian Ukraine’s State Emergency Service announced that rocket fragments killed two people and injured three people.

Rocket fragments fell on private homes in the Brovary district.

A 35-year-old man and his four-year-old son were killed.

Three others were seriously injured, including a 12-year-old boy.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that according to preliminary information, it was a North Korean-made missile.

“Unfortunately, a father and his four-year-old son died last night in the Kiev region as a result of a Russian attack. My condolences to his family and friends. Three others were injured, including a child – a 12-year-old boy. According to preliminary information, Russia used North Korean missiles as another deliberate terrorist attack against Ukraine,” Zelensky wrote on the Telegram platform.

He noted that Russia had fired more than 30 missiles and 800 guided bombs at Ukraine this week.

Zelensky thanked all partners who have helped Ukraine with air defense systems and combat aviation, but added: “In order to truly stop Russia’s terrorist activities, we need not only a full-fledged air defense shield to protect all our cities and communities, but also strong partner solutions – solutions that will remove restrictions on our national defense activities.”

“When Ukraine’s scope of action is no longer limited, this war will certainly be limited as well – and we will really get closer to its just end,” the Ukrainian president stressed.

Ukraine: Russian casualties reach 590,920

As of Sunday morning, Russian losses in Ukraine had reached 590,920 soldiers, according to the Ukrainian Army General Staff.

According to the data of the General Staff, 1,220 invaders were killed during the day.
