On the afternoon of August 18, 2024, the Rimini State Police arrested a man on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trading. The incident took place at around 2 pm, when a crew from the flight department of the police headquarters went to intervene in a well-known nightclub following a report of a quarrel.
After calm was restored, the police noticed a man who tried to hide when they saw him, thus arousing the suspicion of the police. During the inspection, the man was found to be in possession of multiple doses of ketamine and cocaine, as well as 265 euros in small denomination notes, a clear sign of drug dealing activity.
The suspect was taken to the police station and subsequently arrested awaiting immediate trial scheduled for today.
Remember that the presumption of innocence applies to suspects and defendants until proven guilty.
