Regional distribution: How your region voted in the European elections | Yle News

Support for the Left Alliance has risen sharply in this European election, but there are big differences in voting patterns across regions.

The National Coalition Party was the party with the highest support in Finland’s European elections, but the Left Alliance saw the biggest increase in support.

In the western region of Satakunta, the party’s support rose by 11.7 percentage points; in southwestern Finland, the party’s support rose by 14 percentage points; and in the Vaasa constituency, the Left Party’s support rose by 6.7 percentage points.

Nationally, the party’s support increased by 10.4 percentage points.

Although the leading parties in the opinion polls vary in many cities, the left Lee Anderson Still one of the candidates with the highest support in almost all voting districts.

In Jyväskylä, Lahti and Hämeenlinna, the NCP took first place overall, but Andersson received more votes than any other individual candidate.

In Ikaalinen and Hutinen the Centre Party came out on top in the election, but Andersson was the most supported candidate.
