Indian intelligence agencies are on high alert after finding a video in which terrorist Farhatullah Gholi urges sleeper cells in the country to carry out train attacks across the country. Gholi, a fugitive jihadist currently living in Pakistan, is believed to have planned the Rameshwaram cafe blast in Bengaluru through his sleeper cells with the help of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

An investigation is underway into possible links between Ghori’s instructions in the circulating video and recent incidents of railway sabotage in India. The video, which has been circulating for 1-2 weeks, shows Ghori, a long-time target of Indian agencies, instructing sleeper cells on methods of sabotaging India’s railway network, including the use of pressure cookers to make bombs. Ghori’s message specifically advocates attacks on railway lines, petrol pipelines and logistics chains, aimed at “causing chaos in the country.”

“But we will come back and shake the government,” Gori can be heard saying in the video.

He also discussed plans to target Indian oil pipelines and Hindu leaders, accusing the Indian government of weakening sleeper cells by seizing their assets through agencies such as the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).

Gori also called for a “suicide war” or suicide attacks, urging his followers to target Hindu leaders and police personnel. “Try different strategies to see which one works… where they are most vulnerable,” he said, further escalating the threat level.

“The targets are petrol pipelines, logistics chains and collaborators… sabotage of railway lines and transport systems… these will lead to chaos,” Ghori claimed. “The government through ED and NIA is targeting our properties but be steadfast and we will grab power sooner or later,” he added.
