The man can be heard pleading with the loan shark to give him more time to sort it all out. He recounted how he had spent all the loans on his father, who had been ill for two years.
Unfortunately, all the money he spent on caring for his father was wasted when he died, and he went into further debt planning his funeral.
The man also pleaded with the loan shark to forgive him, especially considering that his mother was also seriously ill.
Despite his tearful pleas, his captors kept telling him to shut up and threatening him. A woman could be heard telling him they were taking him to Kpewe, a small town in the Volta region.

“Akosombo Prophet Prempeh has paid off a loan of Ghana Cedis 11,000.
The latest situation of the gentleman who owed money travelling from Kpong to Kpeve by car.
After I showed the video to my dad, Prophet Akwasi Agyeman Prempeh, he asked me for details of the loan he owed. It showed that he owed 11,000 Ghana Cedis. Prophet Prempeh sent me the money and I went to Akosombo to offset the loan so that he could be free. May God bless you, dad.
