Kyrgyzstan, Swiss National Bank presidents discuss cooperation
AKIPRESS website – The Governor of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Melis Turgunbayev, took part in the meeting of the Swiss voting group of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The meeting was held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan from July 1 to 3.
The National Bank Governors held a series of meetings to discuss issues related to world economic development and global inflation trends, as well as prospects for further cooperation and interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and international partners, including the IMF, the Swiss Group of National Central Banks.
National Bank Chairman Turgenbayev also met with Thomas Jordan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Swiss National Bank.
They discussed the results of many years of cooperation and expressed willingness to further strengthen interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Swiss National Bank.
