Kathmandu, August 6. Prime Minister Sharma Oli is preparing to travel to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
The UN General Assembly will be held in New York from September 10 to 28 (August 25 to October 12). Accordingly, the Future Summit is scheduled for September 22 to 23 (October 6 to 7).
According to sources in the Prime Minister’s Office, preparations are underway for Prime Minister Oli to visit New York and address the Future Summit. ‘When will you go?’ Sources said the Ministry of External Affairs is working on who to go to but has confirmed that the Prime Minister will go to attend the conference.
Oli also addressed the United Nations General Assembly as Prime Minister in October 2075. Oli assumed office as Prime Minister on June 30 and has not yet visited any foreign country.
