A car chase between police and a fleeing driver took place in the Malmi district of Helsinki on Saturday afternoon.
The chase started around 3pm when the driver fled from Tapanilla police towards Malmi after receiving a signal from police to stop the car.
The driver evaded police and drove off the road at the junction of Tullivuorentie and Tullivuorenkuja.
A police car also collided with another nearby car, which was damaged during the pursuit.
The driver involved in the accident is suspected of crimes such as seriously endangering traffic safety and driving under the influence of alcohol.
