Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday met with Balochistan The government led by Chief Minister Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti gave a briefing on the ongoing affairs in the province.

The meeting discussed matters related to administrative affairs of Balochistan. Emphasizing the importance of Balochistan, Prime Minister Sharif said: “Balochistan is a very important province for Pakistan.”

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif said: “The welfare of the people of Balochistan is our top priority. The federal government will work with the provincial government to promote the development and prosperity of Balochistan.”

At the same time, he also recalled BalochistanIt also stated that “the federal government will provide all possible assistance for the conversion of agricultural tube wells to solar energy.”

He also directed that till the agricultural tube wells are converted to solar power, load shedding of electricity in Balochistan should be minimized so as not to affect agricultural production of crops and gardens.

At the same time, Prime Minister Sharif expressed confidence in the new provincial cabinet and said that “he hopes that the new provincial cabinet under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Balochistan will be able to play its role in resolving the problems of the province and put the province on the path of development.”

He asked the delegation to expedite important projects of the South Balochistan package. “We are providing equal education and employment opportunities to the youth of the province so that the people of Balochistan continue to play an important role in the development of the country,” he said.

Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and relevant senior government officials attended the meeting.
