Plans are underway to set up triple jump and long jump facilities on the island

Two of the country’s top triple jumpers will work with the Dominican Athletics Association to help build triple and long jump facilities on the island.

Olympic gold medalist Thea Lafond Gadson and former national athlete Fabien Florant, who now competes for the Netherlands, will work with the Dominican Olympic Committee on these projects.
