PRESS RELEASE — WASCO would like to inform consumers that pipe maintenance works on Jeremy Street and Coral Street in Castries have been postponed until Sunday 25 August 2024. To facilitate these works, water supply to the City of Castries and surrounding areas will be disconnected from 6:00am.
Please note that traffic will be temporarily diverted during the emergency repair period. Drivers and pedestrians commuting near the construction site are advised to follow traffic instructions from site personnel or choose alternative routes when possible.
Customers are urged to collect and conserve water ahead of the planned works. WASCO apologises to our valued customers for the inconvenience this disruption will cause and we are working hard to restore water supply as quickly as possible.
Consumers are encouraged to promptly report any supply disruptions and/or localized outages to our North Control Room at 457-3958, 457-3960 or 451-9812. Reports may also be made via WhatsApp Messenger by forwarding contact information and location to 482-0052.
