The Albanian national football team will be the first national team to arrive in the host country of this European Football Championship, apart from the host Germany. The Reds will travel to Kamenkazerau today, where there will be a collection center.
The entire town of Carmen was on foot preparing to receive the Albanian team, with hotels and some main streets draped with Albanian flags or welcome banners.
Even the training center and its grounds were adapted to the Albanian inscription, as the pitch was surrounded by a large black covering to prevent “spying” on the work that Silvejo would do on the pitch with the Rossoneri.
Meanwhile, at the hotel where the national team is staying, staff received an explanation of the menu. Locals were reportedly a bit surprised that Albania chose not to bring a chef to such an event, as most delegates do at the moment. According to chef Sandra Braier, she and her colleagues have prepared everything, even the special products requested from Italy, while most other varieties will come from the local market.
Given the late game time, staff were instructed to prepare something for the team each evening after the Albania challenge, when the team would return directly to the hotel rather than staying in the city of the challenge.
In the meantime, the city organised an official reception for the team and in the coming weeks several events will be held with the presence of representatives of the red and black teams.
