Kathmandu, July 16. Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petroleum products. The company’s board of directors decided to reduce the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene from Wednesday midnight.
According to the company, petrol price has been reduced by Rs 1 per litre, diesel and kerosene by Rs 2 per litre. Aviation fuel and LPG prices remain unchanged.
According to the new price list, petrol will cost Rs 170 per litre in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Diparaya districts. It will cost Rs 167-50 paise in Jhapa, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Nepaljanj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj districts and Rs 169 in Surkhet and Dang districts.
The price of diesel and kerosene for category one is 155-50 paise per litre, category two is 157 rupees per litre and category three is 158 rupees per litre.
