A Finnish motorist is prepared to spend a lot of time complaining about wrong parking charges, the national parking operator says PARKING LOT managing Director Christian Mesalanta The company said in a press release.
“It’s sometimes unbelievable what some people are willing to do to avoid a 60-euro regulatory fee,” Metsäranta said.

Earlier this year, ParkkiPate received more creative explanations than usual from motorists for deregulation charges, according to a news release. The explanations, compiled in a news release, ranged from dirt to barking dogs and natural conditions.
A dog and a parking lot
Every now and then they try to put the blame for a parking mistake on someone else’s neck. For example, a motorist thought there was a pet behind the wrong parking spot.
“We had a puck in the window, but we also had a dog with us. He must have come to visit the front seat and dropped the puck on the floor, which was found on the floor of the unit.
Parking warden is also suspected of influencing parking tickets. The owner of a large Volvo suspected the supervisor of wielding the sturdy car.
“The parking lot attendant either waved the car off or the puck fell off, or something like that. I had the puck loaded before I got out of the car.”
Metsäranta estimated that some drivers’ facts were modified just to test whether the monitoring fee could be cancelled. For example, one driver said he parked his car in front of an apartment building while moving a king-size bed.
The vehicle was a very small two door passenger car with no trailer.
Metsäranta reminds that before paying the supervision fee, the supervisor will record the situation and take several photos from both sides of the car’s dashboard. In the recycling system, the driver and the recycling handler see the same image.
The company is tough
Some motorists try their luck by filing a complaint even when the parking mistake is obvious. A motorist may try to do this because he reported that he had entered the wrong car registration number into the parking system.
“I followed the instructions on site and entered my car’s license plate number into the machine, and the machine announced that the information had been saved. At this time, I did not consider whether to enter the license plate number of your parked car because I was told to enter the license plate number of your car. I drove my sister’s car to get into a traffic jam.”
According to Metsäranta, a surprising number of motorists have cited natural conditions such as frost, snow or darkness in their complaints. For example, a father wrote a letter on behalf of his son, suggesting that the regulation fee be cancelled due to snowfall.
“On a particular day like this, you could have fired all the supervisors.”
Like many of the complainants, a motorist from outside the area cited poor lighting. Many signs in the parking lot about the use of the pucks were not noticed.
“As locals, we first came to a grocery chain when it was dark. The environment was already exciting enough for riders, the parking lot was so full of dirt and potholes that we honestly didn’t notice the parking hockey signs.”
