The International Olympic Committee has decided to award the 2028 Olympic Games to Los Angeles after other bidding cities withdrew.
Los Angeles hosted the Olympics in 1932 and 1984 and will become the third city to host the Summer Olympics three times, following London and Paris in 2024.

The 2032 Olympic Games will be held in Brisbane.
The bidding process for the 2036 Olympics is underway, with Turkey, India, Indonesia and Chile among the countries being considered to host.
Regarding a possible bid for the 2036 Olympic Games, His Royal Highness Abdulaziz bin Turki al-Faisal“I think we have everything we need right now to host any event… I can’t comment on specific bids, but I can tell you that we always keep an eye on different events and sports assets that we can work with,” the Saudi sports minister said.
“We recently won the right to host the 2029 Asian Games and two years ago also won the right to host the 2034 Asian Games. Our focus now is to build on the existing world-class infrastructure and prepare new infrastructure for it.”
