Basketball legend Andrew Gates Praise Australia Victory France On Monday morning, the game was being hailed as one of the team’s “greatest wins ever.”
The country’s women’s soccer team, Opals, inflicted France’s first defeat of the 2024 Paris Olympics and secured second place in its group.

“This is one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever seen in my life, including a lot of Olympic events.
“The national anthem was played at the start of the game and 27,000 people sang it in unison.
“It’s so special.”
