Ooredoo Maldives has successfully completed the Ooredoo Fun Run Lamu.

The competition was held yesterday evening at the Gami Mukarimagu Harbourfront. The Ooredoo Fan Run obstacle course on Lamu Bodamagu attracted about 2,000 participants.

Sports Minister Abdullah Rafiu, Tourism Minister Ibrahim Faisal and Urban Minister Adam Sharif Omar attended the event. Ooredoo Maldives CEO Khalid Al-Hamadi and Sri Lanka’s best footballer Ali Ashfaq also attended the event.

Prior to the Ooredoo Fun Run, PSG legend and Nigerian Jay-Jay Okocha visited Lahore. He visited the historic Fairy Falls in the province. Ooredoo brought him to Rahe for the run.

In addition to the fun run, Ooredoo also held a party and a large drum performance. Many children participated in the event and had a great time in the joyful atmosphere.

Ooredoo Maldives CEO Khalid Al-Hamadi concluded the event by thanking the Province. Khalid Al-Hamadi thanked those who helped with the arrangements and invited all parties to join the running event at Heathrow Airport in December.

Ooredoo also hosted an event at the Mukarmagu Port area yesterday to watch the UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-final match between Germany and Spain. Okocha was also present at the event.
