Former World Cup winning captain Kapil Dev praised the captaincy of Team India Rohit Sharma and said that under the leadership of the 37-year-old captain, Team India is doing “very well” in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. “It’s great. If anyone makes it to the final, you praise them for how well they played. Not to praise one individual, but the entire team. I always believe in team strength. They played really well and the entire team played really well under the leadership of Rohit Sharma,” Kapil Dev said.
When asked about the performances of Axar Patel and Jasprit Bumrah in India’s last match against England, the former cricketer pointed out that it was a result of teamwork rather than the performance of individual players.
