The 9th Islamic Conference of Religious Ministers will open in Mecca.
The conference was initiated by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The conference, which will begin next Saturday, is being organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
The theme of the conference is “The role of Islamic ministries in promoting moderate principles and strengthening moderate values”
Ministers, muftis, presidents of Islamic councils, institutions and associations from more than 60 Islamic countries will attend the conference. There will be 10 sessions to discuss research related to the theme of the conference.
The meeting will discuss the principles of Islamic moderation and solutions to the problem of religious extremism based on contemporary ideas. They will also exchange views on various challenges facing Islam and Muslims and solutions to the problem of “Islamophobia”.
In addition, the experiences of ministries, associations and institutions in various fields related to religion in various countries in the Islamic world will be shared. They will also discuss how to spread the call of Islam in a modern way based on the Quran and Sunnah.
