USA – El Chapín could get his first international title with the Crew.

Guatemalan goalkeeper Nicolas Hagen plays for Columbus Crew today in the CONCACAF Champions League final against Mexican side Pachuca at the Azteca Nacional Hidalgo Stadium.

Hagan was part of the crew team’s initial roster, so it’s almost certain that he’ll be on the bench awaiting his turn, considering the undisputed starter is American Patrick Schulte.

The national team was barely called up for the CONCACAF duel, but nonetheless will have a chance to win the continental title if their side beats the Tuzos.

In addition to adding another trophy to his record, Nikolaus Hagen and his team will also win a ticket to the 2025 Club World Cup, which he will be able to participate in as long as he continues to belong to the club.
