New look for Ljubljana Guardhouse

Last year, a new guardhouse was built at the government building in Ljubljana’s Gregorčičeva ulica 25 underground passage, and the next guardhouse will be built next to the National Assembly in Šubičeva ulica in October. Except for the government building, which is under construction, all renovated houses will have canopies.

They will be equipped with electric radiators, air conditioning, seats and lockers. The design, equipment and selected materials will protect police officers from the weather, ensure safety and allow storage of equipment, the Ministry of the Interior wrote.

According to them, all necessary approvals were obtained for the design, including those from the City of Ljubljana and the Slovenian Institute for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
