June 5, M. Nepal will face Kyrgyzstan in the semi-finals of the Kawa U-20 Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The semi-finals will be over after all matches in the league stage are completed.

After Sri Lanka defeated Kyrgyzstan 3-2 in the last round of the league, Nepal’s opponent in the semi-finals is Kyrgyzstan.

Sri Lanka remained unbeaten in the league, winning 3 games and getting 8 points. Kyrgyzstan ranked second with 2 wins and 1 loss and 5 points, Nepal ranked third with 3 points, and the home team Maldives, which lost all three games, ranked fourth.

In the league, the first semi-final will be between Sri Lanka and fourth-placed Maldives, while the second semi-final will be between second-placed Kyrgyzstan and third-placed Nepal.

Both semi-finals will be played on Monday. The first semi-final will be held at 4 pm local time.

Similarly, the second semifinal between Nepal and Kyrgyzstan will start at 8:30 local time and 9:30 Nepal time.

Nepal lost to Kyrgyzstan in straight sets in the league earlier this year. Now they have a chance to take revenge on Nepal in the semifinals. Nepal’s goal is to win the championship, and they must beat Kyrgyzstan to keep this possibility alive.

Nepal head coach Arjun Ghimire said he will avenge the league semi-final defeat by improving blocking, receiving and attacking. “We have already played Kyrgyzstan in the league. One day of rest. We will play the semi-final by improving our weak receiving and blocking. This is an important game for us.
