Libreville, Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The second volume of the White Paper on Patriotism, the logical continuation of the first volume of this masterpiece initiated by the 13th Legislature under the leadership of former President of the National Assembly, Mr. Faustin Boukoubi, was officially presented to the public on July 23, 2024 at the Leon Mba Palace.

The President of the Transitional National Assembly, His Excellency Jean-François Ndongu, explained that this exercise aims to guide actions and decisions during the transition period, which will be decisive in restoring Gabonese institutions. He also wanted to express his gratitude to those who have made a great contribution to the realization of this project, while discussing the importance of inclusiveness and peaceful participation in building a solid future for the country.

“Patriotism is an invitation to the motherland, love for the country, the acceptance of certain values”. This is the position defended by the transitional deputy, Professor Patrice Moundounga Mouity, who acknowledges that, given the current situation, it is necessary to continue with this exercise designed a few months ago.

The President of the Transitional National Assembly, during the official presentation of the second volume of the White Paper on Patriotism, said that the themes chosen relate to the challenges of living together in the transitional period and in the days before its official launch, the start of the review of the new Constitution and the holding of the referendum. In addition, Jean François Ndongou said that it is a valuable tool that should undoubtedly guide the actions and activities to be carried out in the short term.
