Nasinu Secondary School staged a brilliant comeback to beat MGM High School 24-23 to win the Vodafone Southern Region Secondary Schools Under-18 Rugby Championship.
The match was held at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva and MGM initially had the upper hand, leading 23-3 at halftime.
However, the second half belonged to Nasinu, who stepped up his defense and kept the MGM from scoring.
Nasinu worked tirelessly, eventually scoring three touchdowns and getting the decisive score at the end of the game.
Meanwhile, Queen Victoria School retained the Vodafone Deans Eastern Region Secondary Schools U18 rugby title by defeating rivals Ratu Kadavulevu School 13-10.
