The National Meteorological Agency (NMA) has advised people to exercise caution when travelling at sea due to the heavy rain.

In a message to customers, the company noted that the National Weather Service predicts heavy rain and winds of up to 45 mph for much of the country during the ongoing western monsoon, advising travelers to exercise caution and stay safe.

As a result, ferries on some routes may have to be cancelled, the company said. However, MTCC said ferry services will be cancelled if weather permits.

MTCC said the cancelled RTL ferry tickets will be rescheduled.

The company apologizes to customers for any inconvenience this may cause.

The ferry service provided by MTCC is an important basic service that meets the needs of many people. This service significantly reduces the cost of travel for the people and increases the comfort and safety of the journey. The company uses launch boats that are suitable for rough seas in the areas served by RTL launch ferries.
