Many Ukrainians released from Russian proxy forces in Donbass, eastern Ukraine, have become victims of sexual violence by the militants.
This was said by European Solidarity Party MEP Iryna Herashchenko during her speech at the “Power to Rights” panel discussion on November 23, 2019. 1+1 TV Thursday.
“I have now submitted a special translation of sexual crimes in conflict zones to the new prosecutor’s office. Among those I released, many men and women complained of being victims of gang rape,” the people’s deputy said.
Meanwhile, Hrashenko called for a class action lawsuit.
