A visitor to the Academic Hospital Paramaribo (AZP) had his moped stolen during a visit on Tuesday afternoon.
This is a Yamaha brand blue painted light motorcycle with license plate number 107605 (photo).
The injured man told Waterkant.Net that he went to the hospital to visit his daughter who was admitted and parked his carriage in the children’s department. He locked his moped and went inside.
After visiting hours ended, the man walked back to his moped and discovered it was gone. Police were called and went to the scene to investigate.
The visitor currently goes to the hospital by bus. He wants to be able to find his means of transport quickly based on the camera images inside and outside the AZP site.
