IAS trainee Puja Khedkar, who is embroiled in controversy over her alleged VIP requirement, also faces multiple charges of forging OBC and disability certificates. Following the uproar, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued a press statement saying that Puja Khedkar had cheated the examination body by changing her name and personal details to appear for the exam multiple times. Now, a video of Khedkar’s mock interview has gone viral, where she was asked about her preference for “money, power, prestige and career”.
However, Khedkar’s response was at odds with her real-life behaviour where she was accused of leading a lavish lifestyle, driving an Audi car and living in the cabin of a senior officer. Watch the video:

In a mock interview, Khedkar ranked money last – career, prestige, power and money. There are several reasons why the Khedkar family is in trouble. Puja Khedkar’s mother, Manorama Khedkar, was arrested and her father was suspended from his government post for alleged extortion.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Friday filed a preliminary investigation report (FIR) against IAS probationer Puja Manorama Dilip Khedkar for “falsifying identity to fraudulently exceed the permissible limit”.
The board said it had also issued a show cause notice to her for disqualification from selection and barring her from appearing in future examinations. The Joint State Examination Board said in a press release that upon investigation, it was found that she had fraudulently exceeded the number of attempts permitted under the Examination Rules by forging her identity by changing her name, father’s and mother’s names, photograph/signature, email ID, mobile number and address.
Khekar is a provisionally recommended candidate for the Civil Services Examination 2022. Besides, the UP Supreme Court said a preliminary information report (FIR) has been filed with the police, initiating a slew of actions against her, including criminal prosecution.
Besides, the officer was removed from the Maharashtra government’s district training programme on July 16. She was recalled to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie and the training was also suspended. (With institutional investment)
