Kathmandu. The prestigious overseas beauty pageant Miss Nepal North America also welcomed its champion today. The grand finale will be held at the Melrose Ballroom in New York in the evening local time.
18 beauties are competing for the title in the competition held by Dream Global. According to the head of the organizing agency Shailendra Shrestha, the final will be held in the presence of artists coming to the United States from Nepal.
Former Miss Nepal Sadiksha Shrestha, actors Aanchal Sharma, Anupvikram Shahi, Varsha Raut, Usha Upreti, former Miss Nepal Earth Sarisha Shrestha are currently in New York. On Shrestha’s initiative, a competition is organized every year among young women from the Nepali community in the United States and Canada.
The contestants this time are Anna Koirala from North Carolina, Ayusha Tuladhar from Minnesota, Adisree Regmi from Texas, Anu Subedi from Canada, Asmi Giri from New York, and Asmita Tuladhar from Michigan.
Vishwa Dhital from Ohio, Nancy Chhetri from Maryland, Onika Baniyan from New Jersey, Prija Rana from New York, Riza Puri from Boston, Rubina Puri from Maryland.
Ruby Poudel from Maryland, Savita Chaulagai from Colorado, Sarita Thagunna from Texas, Sarju Thapa from Colorado, Sophie Pokharel from Georgia, Sujana Sunuwar from Texas, Sankakha Khadka from Ontario, Canada, and Usha Shah from California.
Former Miss Nepal World Sadiksha Shrestha is the choreographer for this competition and former Miss World Priyarani Lama is the coach.
