Janakpur Dham, July 27. A conflict broke out at the Madhesh Public Health Laboratory on Sunday over the presence of the acting director and the resignation of the outgoing director. To resolve the dispute, Madhesh Satrudhan Prasad Singh, Minister of Health and Population and Secretary Dr. Pramod Yadav reached the laboratory.
The association is a Grade XI employee. On July 18, 2077, Shravan Mishra was appointed as the director of the laboratory. On June 20, the health and population department of the center asked him to return to his post at Biratnagar Koshi Hospital. But he did not leave Janakpur after two attempts to transfer.
Last time on July 20, the Madhesh Chief Minister’s Office directed Director Mishra to report and go to the shifting location within 24 hours. Also, Mrityunjay Prasad Yadav, Grade IX, was appointed as the designated director. He was posted here on February 11, 2080.
Misra did not leave the lab. There was no mention in the law that Barbujharath had to be removed within 24 hours. He thought it could be done in 20 days.
On Friday, he was not in the office but Mrityunjay Prasad Yadav, deputy director, was present. But on Sunday, Mishra stirred up controversy.
Before Acting Director Yadav arrived at the office on Sunday. Mishra had already arrived. The gate was locked and the side staff did not allow Yadav to enter the Director’s office. Following this sequence, there was a push. Yadav alleged that Mishra’s side staff abused him and pushed him.
After the dispute escalated, Chief Minister Shatikumar Singh directed the health minister and secretary to leave as Mishra was under the influence of leaders of the Nepali Janata Party (JSP), which headed the then government.

Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, the Minister and Secretary arrived. After sitting for about three hours, he handed over the leadership of the laboratory to Acting Director Yadav. “Things were interrupted when the Acting Director showed up. I also came with the Minister after you were instructed to approve the law,” Minister Yadav said.
Mishra worked day and night and eventually won an award for creating a model laboratory.
The laboratory examines 300 to 400 patients per day.
