The national secondary education exams began this Monday. Students were asked to take the Portuguese language exam, and on the same day, teachers went on strike and the arbitration court issued a minimum service standard. The presidents of the National Association of Directors of Groups and Public Schools and the National Association of Directors of Schools both guaranteed that the exams will go on “normally” because “the minimum service reduces the impact of the strike”. Fenprof considers the minimum service “illegal” and will file a lawsuit in court this Monday to challenge the decision.
