Milatovic denies MP Nedovic: Montenegro’s inflation rate is still high and is currently significantly higher than that of the Eurozone

Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic announced on the X network, He commented on the position of MP Jelena Nedović.

– This was the case with inflation in February 2022, when war broke out in Ukraine and international supply chains were temporarily disrupted. At that time, the inflation rate in Montenegro was high and at the level of the euro area. However, the arguments presented are no longer sufficient. The inflation rate in Montenegro remains high, but it is currently significantly higher than in the euro area. The rise in prices is the biggest problem facing citizens. Governing the country is not marketing. Managing the country is a serious job, Milatovic wrote in the bulletin.
