The world’s largest sports event for women’s health, Race for the Cure®, will be held on September 29 in Podgorica on Mount Gorica, with the motto “We support each other every step of the way”.

The NGO Brini o sebi organizes this event in Montenegro for the second consecutive year under the permission of the Think Pink Europe organization, and this year Race for the Cure® will present their tenth campaign for the prevention of breast cancer “Get Checked”. The event will once again bring together women who have survived or are undergoing treatment for breast cancer, their friends, acquaintances, family members, as well as all interested citizens, celebrities, socially responsible companies and media who want to contribute to the fight against breast cancer awareness.

– The concept of the Race for the Cure® event means that the funds collected by registered participants will be used to support women with breast cancer. The NGO announced that this year the funds from the registration of participants in the event will be used specifically to improve the quality of life of women with breast cancer by organizing sports and physiotherapy activities for women who have completed clinical recovery.

They added that the capital Podgorica, Crnogorski Telekom, Erste Banka and pharmaceutical companies Glosarij CD and MSD, Hoffmann-La Roche and Novartis Pharma provided support for the implementation of this year’s event.

– Registration for the event is done through the website https://www.raceforthecure.eu/en?r=1 and, depending on personal interests, participants can register for a race or a walk and participate as an individual, in a team or in one of the existing ones. The announcement said that we invite all citizens to join us on September 29th in Gorica to send a strong message of support to all women who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer to win this fight.
