Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is continuing its partnership with the University of Miami Health System (UHealth) to provide basic immunizations to students through the Pediatric Mobile Shotz-2-Go Unit.

The plan is to ensure that students across the district receive the vaccines they need in time for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.

The UHealth Pediatric Shotz-2-Go Department will administer mandatory school vaccinations to ensure students are prepared for the fall. In addition, the department will provide flu and COVID-19 vaccines to eligible students.

To receive the COVID-19 vaccine, children must be at least 6 months old on the day of vaccination. Parents will need to complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Screening and Consent Form, which will be available at the mobile clinic. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to vaccine availability.

The program will run through June and July, and flyers are available in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole, listing the different locations, dates and times. Parents are encouraged to scan the QR code on the flyer and fill out the online consent form before going to the mobile clinic. For new residents of Florida, it is recommended to bring existing vaccination records.
