The Miami-Dade County Public Housing and Community Development Department (PHCD) will host a virtual drawing for the Dream Home Lottery on Friday, September 6. Residents can also enter the drawing in person at the Miami-Dade County Main Library, 101 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33130.
The application for the Dream Home Lottery is Accepted July 24 – August 7, 2024, A total of 23,483 applications were successfully submitted.
The lottery offers Miami-Dade County residents the opportunity to purchase one of two newly constructed homes located at 15300 SW 296 Street, Miami, FL 33033. Each home features 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The lottery will select 10 applicants from those who submit an application online during the application period and will use a computer-generated random selection process to ensure fairness.
The ten selected applicants will be ranked from 1 to 10. The first and second ranked applicants will enter the home purchase financing and closing process. If either of them cannot obtain financing within the specified time, the second ranked applicant will be considered and the process will continue until both homes are sold.
