Addressing the gathering, Maulana Syed Mahmood Madani said that the majority of the society has the biggest responsibility to speak out against abuses in all sections of the country. Talking about Muslims, he said we have to deal with three categories of people, first, those who are against us in every situation, second, those who are our friends in every situation, and third, those who are neutral and support us. They say good things about us and also react if something negative comes in front of them. These people are misled by wrong information.
Speaking about the overall challenges, Maulana said that we face major challenges in three areas: democracy, human rights and social justice. By working on these three aspects, the problems can be solved. Maulana stressed that the door to dialogue should not be closed in any case, even if the person in front is our enemy.
