Lucien Carnival Soca Monarch Quarterfinal Qualifiers Announced

Following the call for entries for the 2024 National Groovy and Power Soca Monarch Competition, there was an overwhelming response from artists, following which a panel of judges conducted listening auditions to select the artists who qualified for the 2024 Soca Monarch quarterfinals.

The following artists and songs have been selected for the next round of the national competition.

At the quarter-final stage, the 40 shortlisted artists will be asked to perform their songs in front of a panel of judges on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9. This session is not open to the public.

Twenty artists from each category will be selected to advance to the semi-finals on Saturday, June 22. The show, open to the public, will take place at the National Cultural Centre at 6:00pm, and tickets are priced at $20 and available at Steve’s Barbershop and The Cell branches islandwide.
