In a press release, the French Professional Football League has refuted allegations against its president who allegedly used bots to promote two new Ligue 1 broadcasters.
Two weeks before the new Ligue 1 season resumed, several internet users on X claimed that LFP president Vincent Labrune would pay bots to promote the new broadcaster of Ligue 1. The LFP immediately denied the accusation.
“In recent hours, serious rumours have been growing regarding posts on social networks whose content is demonstrably false and whose consistency is dubious. The Professional Rugby League wishes to categorically deny the allegation that this would be the origin of this disguise.we can read in the press release.
The 2024/2025 season will begin on DAZN and BeIn Sports on the weekend of August 16. Both outlets must broadcast the French championship for the next five seasons.
