Kathmandu, August 5. A two-way highway was blocked after a landslide near Nagadhunga, the main gateway to Kathmandu. The highway was blocked this morning after a huge landslide caused rocks and trees to fall.
According to the valley traffic police department, traffic in both directions has been blocked due to a massive landslide near Nag Mandir in Nagadhunga.
Landslides occur occasionally. Therefore, police said it would take several hours to clear the landslides.
Due to the closure of the highway, passengers faced trouble. Some used Khanikhola-Nagadhunga and Sitapaila-Dharke roads as alternative routes.
