A popular Parisian coffee and pastry company opened its first Garden State store last week inside Short Hills Mall, on the lower level next to Neiman Marcus. Founded in 1862, Ladurée is a global brand with 14 stores in the U.S. It sells brightly colored pastries, French macarons and lattes, most topped with whipped cream and macarons.

one Top restaurants in Montclair has expanded to Ridgewood. Sweet Kitchen serves breakfast and lunch daily, in addition to fresh baked goods like croissants, muffins and scones, and homemade coffee, espresso and tea beverages. The new location features indoor and outdoor seating.

Located in Headquarters Square, this new restaurant combines old-world tavern fare and drinks with a spacious dining space. The French bistro-style menu includes dishes such as steak frites, burgers, pork chops and oysters, as well as craft beer, wine and creative cocktails. The restaurant features indoor and outdoor seating, as well as an indoor and outdoor bar.
9 Speedwell Avenue

This Colombian restaurant celebrated the grand opening of its second location in mid-July. Originally opened in Pennsauken over 10 years ago, Tierra Colombia serves authentic Colombian cuisine in its vibrantly decorated dining room. The extensive menu includes dishes such as grilled flank steak, seafood casserole, breaded pork tenderloin and paella. The restaurant also features a bar that serves a variety of cocktails.

Papa’s Pizza, Seville

A popular pizza shop in Gloucestershire is set to close after nearly 30 years in business. The family that owns the pizza shop posted the reasoning on Facebook and TikTok earlier this week. They wrote in the post The company that owns the property “raised our rent so high that we had no choice,” one of the owners, Andrea, said on TikTok. Their rent is going to go up. This year’s fee is 17%, plus other fees that small mom-and-pop shops can’t afford. The pizza shop, which opened in 1996, is known for its thin-crust pizza, sandwiches, wings and other pizza parlor staples.
