The situation is dramatic
For the Christian Democrats, impatience and the lack of efforts to ideologically disband the opposition bloc led by the progressives became a double-edged sword. While President Milan Majeski nonchalantly presented the constitutional initiative, others (Frantisek Mikloško or Martina Holechikova) understood that today’s power situation, its risks and consequences, are truly dramatic.
Now is not a good time to think about your own ideas. That can’t be a player like Robert Fickam. His government minions must also be of different qualities (and character).
For KDH, it is risky that the chairman of the movement prefers dubious and harmful hoaxes to political clarity. What the movement needs now is not a preacher, but a political strategist. At the same time, he needs someone who can convince voters of the meaning of anti-Semitism.
This cucumber season is different
Only in this way will voters not succumb to frustration and feel that their movement must retreat forever. The reasons for intransigence in direction are clear, serious and real. Christian Democrats cannot now wallow in the bitter feeling that they themselves must sacrifice their political intentions for a higher purpose.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with those higher goals (protecting democratic institutions and the media). Standing by them is a great service to constituents and others. Everyone in KDH who disagrees with the Chairman deserves attention right now.
It’s not because of the rebellious image, but because of the thing itself. In addition, there is no need to fight against the “cucumber” with unnecessary ideas and media activities in this summer. Because this year is really different from previous years.
