Kathmandu. The producers of the film “Bulaki” which is set to be re-released from July 32 are currently promoting it. The cast and crew are reaching out to the audience and inviting them to watch the film.
The makers adopted a new promotional method by performing street plays, dance and singing in Kathmandu. The event also saw a large participation of common people. Producer and actor Viraj Bisht said that the film has left no stone unturned to attract the audience while telling the story and the release date.
The public also attended the presentation held at Lagankhel. Besides theatre actors and models, the promotion of the film was also supported by singers.
Bista said the street drama for public awareness is presented within the confines of the film’s storyline and is said to be female-led. Actress Suraksha Pant will join the team on Friday.
As the release date approaches, the production team said that despite the bad weather, the promotional activities are still going on. Bisht said that this process will continue until the day before the release of the film, and it will be staged at 18 locations in Kathmandu alone.
Director Laxman Sunar said that interviews with the artistes will be conducted in the Bus Park area, various parks, Shantiwatika, Bhrikutimandap, various shopping malls, open air stages, Basantpur, Patan and other places.
The film, which tells the story of a persistent custom in western Nepal, has been called a Nepali original by production company Chhatreswari Management. It also won a special film award from the Film Development Board.
Naren Khadka, Viraj Bista, Saraswati Khatri and Suraksha Pant are starring in this film. Recently, the rights of the film have been sold in Australia, Europe and the UK.
