The CIA Special Investigation Team was accused of raiding a house in Karachi’s Scheme 33 area, detaining a citizen and looting money.
According to SSP Adeel Chandio, we have received a complaint that the CIA team allegedly stole $90,000 from citizens and the real facts will be revealed after the investigation of the incident.
Adil Chandeo said immediate action was taken on the complaint and the entire team, including the sub-inspector who detained the citizen and robbed the money, has been suspended.
He said DSPSIU Shabbir Ahmad Khan has also been suspended and a probe into the incident is underway and the complainant is being contacted to register a case against the officials.
