Kangana Ranaut, who plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, releases a song from her upcoming film Emergency
The song released today is titled “Singhasan Kali Karo” The song is composed by GV Prakash Kumar and sung by Udit Narayan, Nakash Aziz and Nakul Abhiyankar. The song is composed by Manoj Mushtari.
Scheduled to hit screens on June 6, Emergency is set against the backdrop of political unrest and heightened political tensions during the state of emergency declared during the Indira Gandhi regime. The film is produced and directed by Khanna.
Emergency is one of the most promising films of the year and features an ensemble cast that includes Anupam Kher, Maheema Choudhary, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman, Vishal Nair and late actor Satish Koshik.
As the film is about to be released, Khanna is currently a member of the lower house of the Indian parliament. He is a member of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
