Pushpa actor Allu Arjun recently took to Instagram to heap praises on Nag Ashwin and his latest cinematic masterpiece Kalki 2898 AD. In a detailed post on his story, he did not hold back on his awe at the brilliant performances by the film’s lead cast, which includes legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Allu Arjun praises the cast of Kalki 2898 AD

Taking to Instagram, the Pushpa actor showered praises on the Kalki 2898 AD actor. In a long Instagram story, Allu wrote, “Salute to the Kalki 2898 AD team. The visuals are just amazing. I admire my good friend Prabhas garu (brother) who empowered this epic. The superhero presence was a delight. Amitabh Bachchan Ji, you are truly inspiring…no words (folded hands emoji). Salute to our Kamal Haasan sir, looking forward to his next. Dear Deepika Padukone, you are truly stunning. Disha Patani is charming, dear (sic).”

He continued, “Hats off to all the artists and technicians, especially in cinematography, art, costumes, editing and make-up. Vyjayanthi Movies and Ashwini Dutt Garu, Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt took risks and raised the bar for Indian cinema.”

Allu Arjun praised Nag Ashwin, the director of Kalki 2898 AD. He also highlighted how the filmmaker portrayed India’s “cultural sensitivities”. He wrote, “Director Nag Ashwin Garu has wowed every film lover. Kudos to the path-breaking filmmaker of our generation. Finally, a film from India with our cultural sensitivities meets the standards of a global visual spectacle.”

The post-apocalyptic blockbuster Kalki 2898 is a riveting cinematic masterpiece inspired by the Hindu holy texts and set in the distant future, in the year 2898 AD. The film debuted on the big screen on June 27 and stars renowned actors like Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur in cameo appearances.

Allu Arjun’s Upcoming Projects

The much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Aliu Arjun, is all set to hit the screens worldwide on December 6 and fans are excited. Directed by mastermind Sukumar, the sequel comes hot on the heels of Arjun’s blockbuster Pushpa 1: The Rise, which created a buzz in December 2021. Naveen Yelneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers are infusing their creative genius into Pushpa 2: The Rule and are producing the film with Sukumar’s script.
