The Israeli military said on Thursday that it had killed Mohammed Jaber and four other Palestinian militants in a major military operation in the occupied West Bank. Jaber, also known as Abu Shuja, was a leader of the Tulkarm Battalion, a local militant group allied with Islamic Jihad. Islamic Jihad has confirmed Jaber’s death.
